Tripura BJP State President Shri Rajib Bhattacharjee, a man of commitment, and dedication towards the service of Bharat Mata has served the organization while holding many important responsibilities at different levels in the party. Born to father Krishnadas Bhattacharjee and mother Chaya Rani Bhattacharjee on 31st August 1969, he was married to 13th May, on 1999. He has risen through the ranks in the party.

He entered politics in the year 1991. Before joining BJP he was an active swayamsevak of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh. He joined Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha in the year 1988. For a short period of time, he worked for Vishwa Hindu Parishad.

He formally joined Bharatiya Janata Party in the year 1991. In the year 1992, he was given the responsibility of Mandal President of 9-Banamalipur Mandal. Subsequently, in 2008 he was made a state executive member. He served the party as State Treasurer from 2009 to 2016.

He was given the important responsibility of State General Secretary in 2016 (2016- 2019) during the presidentship of Shri Biplab Kumar Deb. During this tenure, BJP came to power with an astounding majority to serve the people of Tripura. He has been a frontal warrior of dethroning 25 years of misrule of CPI(M) in Tripura. His eminence contribution and commitment have been recognized by all quarters of the party.

He has also served as the Chairman of Tripura Khadi And Village Industries Board. During his tenure on the board, he has brought many reforms in the Khadi sector of Tripura and connected the Tripura Khadi industries to national khadi platforms. He has taken the initiative to take the Khadi movement to every nook and corner of Tripura.

He has also served the party as State Vice President from 2019 till the date he was made State President. His dedication, devotion, and commitment towards the party lead him to become the State President of BJP Tripura Pradesh. He was appointed as the State President on 25th August, 2022.

He is also the president of the renowned social organization Vivekananda Bichar Mancha which is one of the largest social organisations in the state. Apart from political activity, he is also a successful businessman and a renowned social activist.
